Terms of Service

Welcome to CoreWod, developed and operated by CoreN Digital. By downloading, installing, or using the CoreWod mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use CoreWod. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during registration
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

3. Acceptable Use

CoreWod is intended for personal, non-commercial fitness use. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Copy, redistribute, or sell any content from the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

4. Subscriptions & Payments

CoreWod offers free and premium tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  • Prices are displayed in the App before purchase
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's store settings
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their refund policies
  • Free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes before your next billing cycle.

5. Health & Fitness Disclaimer

CoreWod provides fitness content for informational and educational purposes only. The workouts and recommendations are not medical advice.

  • Consult your physician before starting any exercise program
  • You are solely responsible for your physical health and safety during workouts
  • Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort
  • CoreWod is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment

You acknowledge that engaging in physical exercise involves inherent risks and you voluntarily assume all risks associated with using the workouts provided.

6. AI Coach Feature

The AI Coach provides automated training insights based on your workout data. These insights are generated by artificial intelligence and should be treated as general guidance, not professional coaching or medical advice. AI-generated content may not always be accurate or suitable for your specific situation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including workouts, exercise descriptions, images, logos, UI design, and software — is owned by CoreWod or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any App content without our written permission.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (workout notes, progress photos). By submitting content to the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display it for the purpose of providing the service. We do not claim ownership of your personal content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoreWod and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes, without limitation, damages for personal injury, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Warranty Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any workout content or AI-generated advice.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections regarding liability, warranty, and intellectual property survive termination.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CoreWod, CoreN Digital, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet or infrastructure failures, cyberattacks, or third-party service outages.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of London, England. For users in the European Economic Area, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
